Though it’s mostly great for both parties, road closures can be a nuisance and a few crews can be inconsiderate. The city of Delta doesn’t want to lose the income, but it may be raising the cost of permits soon.

The young actor’s career hasn’t been all educational cartoons, however; he’s also appeared in horror stories (Cody Calahan’s feature Antisocial 2 and the series Hemlock Grove) and some grown-up comedy series (FXX’s Man Seeking Woman and, back at home, The Rick Mercer Report) among others.
Paul Haggis, who recently (and very Canadianly) said he shouldn’t have won the Oscar for Crash, goes on talking about mistakes in his past. Haggis tells the CP’s Nick Patch (via Global News) that he’s proud to have been part of Alex Gibney’s HBO film Going Clear, an exposé of Scientology. But he also says, “It took a long time for me to see the truth. Shame on me.”
