The Marriott Cell, by Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy, will be made into a film by Britain’s Development Partnership, The Hamilton Spectator reports. In his memoir, Fahmy, formerly of Al Jazeera English, tells the story of his arrest and two years in prison in his native Egypt. The book is being adapted by writer/producer/director Michael Bronner.
