Movie Weekend in Canada

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 – Paul Blart, an experienced mall cop, has decided to finally take a vacation after working for six years. He spends his holiday in Vegas with his daughter before she goes to college, but he keeps heading back to his job whenever he hears about danger. This one might be a bit cheesy, but the comedy should work out and hopefully not be too over the top with humour.

Monkey Kingdom – This one is a documentary about monkeys who live in ancient ruins  in South Asia. The story follows a female monkey and her son who have to survive onslaughts from other jungle animals and higher ranked monkeys if they are make it through life and become higher ranked monkeys themselves. Should be informative as well as fascinating as it shows the details of life among monkeys and how they live.

True Story – As the title suggests, it’s a true story. This movie follows  what happened when Michael Finkel met Christian Longo, an accused murderer. Longo ends up stealing Finkel’s identity and Finkel chases Longo while figuring out his whole story at the same time. Has an interesting sense of adventure by the sounds of things. Could be worth watching.

Unfriended – A horror film that shows what kind of dangers can lurk within cyberbullying and social media. A teen girl and her friends are being stalked by a stranger seeking vengeance for a social media video that made a bully commit suicide. Certainly seems thrilling and edgy. Might be worth a watch.
