Hot Tub Time Machine 2 – The sequel for a not-so-great movie. Lou, played by Rob Corddry, makes some really big mistakes. It’s up to him and his friends to get into their time traveling hot tub and go to the past. However, they accidentally send themselves into the future instead. I wouldn’t entirely recommend this movie as I didn’t find the first one funny or really very interesting. You’d think with a name like Hot Tub Time Machine, it would be a decent movie, but no. It could’ve been better.
McFarland – This movie is based on a true story, and is probably more worth your time and money than the above. In the late 80s, a new coach named Jim White who arrives at a high school called McFarland finds he has to work hard with some runners in training. They all plan to start their very own cross country team, but the coach and the students must learn to get along with each other. Soon, Coach White realizes he has a strong determined team of champion cross-country runners and his family has found a true home for themselves as well.
Felix and Meira – Another film in French, these seem to be getting pretty common nowadays. This movie is about a Francophone named Felix who meets a married Jewish mother named Meira. The two of them are looking for new challenges and end up falling in love. As in many love stories, these two are completely from out of each other’s leagues and work hard to love each other despite the fact that they are different in every way.
