Black Mass – It’s a movie about scientific facts. Wait, no – actually it’s about an FBI agent named John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) who tries to convince mobster Jimmy Bulger (Johnny Depp) to work with the FBI. Why? So he can help take out their latest enemy, an Italian mob. Also to tell them about his former boss, Whitey who’s now becoming one of the biggest criminals in Boston. Taking place in the 1970s, this is a dramatic movie that tells the story of uneasy alliances can sometimes go absolutely wrong. Great action drama for anyone into intense violence.
Everest – This movie was inspired by man’s attempts at climbing one of the tallest mountains in the world. Two different types of expeditions are heading up this mountain of intense danger and to make things more scary, a snowstorm threatens both journeys upwards. Not just any ordinary snowstorm, but one that is considered extremely dangerous and threatening.. The explorers are about to learn that maybe a dream to climb the tallest mountain isn’t exactly as fun as they thought it would be. An action movie that’s great for anyone who wants to know what it’s like to be in the most dangerous place in the world.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials – As the next chapter in this Sci-fi thriller is released, the Gladers are faced with a new task of searching for clues about a top secret organization called the WKCD. The clues lead them to a desolate area full of obstacles and traps, called The Scorch. The Gladers make an alliance with resistance fighters to take down WKCD and figure out what they’re up to. Anyone interested in science fiction should check this out.
