(Via CNW) Félicitations to the team behind La Guerre des Tuques 3D (Snowtime!) who were awarded the 2015 Guichet d’or by Telefilm Canada. This award goes to “the Canadian director(s) and screenwriter(s) of the Canadian French-language feature film having generated the highest domestic box office in the previous year, earning at least $1 million.” As director Jean-François Pouliot puts it, the film’s success “testifies both to our know-how and to the profit potential of animated films.”
(Via CNW) Congratulations also to the eight “eight established and emerging Canadian creators” who’ve been picked up by Much Digital Studios –– read about all of them here.
