ity, has begun production, announces Montreal VR production studio Unlimited. It’s a sci-fi adventure set in a futuristic world, where the viewer is immersed in the action and every decision affects the outcome of the story. Trinity will be available in December on Google Play, iTunes, Samsung, Microsoft, Sony and Oculus. “Virtual reality is an amazing new medium, a complete platform shift really. It compares to the dawn of cinema and television or more recently, the internet. That’s how huge it will be.” said John Hamilton, President and Co-founder of Unlimited. The company is partnering with Canadian Media Fund (CMF) and Rex Media Capital on this project.

(Via Wireservice.ca) “Finding hidden gems and work by new voices,” is a big part of the selection process at the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF).  The OIAF would like to remind animators that there’s still over a month left to submit your work.  The Festival will be accepting entries for this year’s competition until May 15th, and DVDs and submission URLs until May 29th. Out of all entries, 150 will be chosen to celebrate OIAF’s 40th anniversary in September.
