From Leo Award ceremony volunteer to Leo nominee: Filmmaker Alex Farah‘s “short film, Sahar, is nominated in five categories, Best Short Drama, Direction, Editing, Best Performance by a Male and Best Performance by a Female”  Mario Bartel reports in Farah’s hometown paper, The New Westminster NewsLeader.

The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) will be in Sudbury’s Anywhere Creator Space this summer to give courses on Short Dramatic Film Writing (June 28th) and Camera Theory for Independent Filmmakers, announces Music and Film in Motion, which has all the details here.

Movie Central Script to Screen has about 125 entries according to the National Screen Institute’s easy-to-read bar graph, and will of course close when it gets 200.
