More musings on TIFF’s list of Canada’s All-Time Top Ten films: John Semley in The Globe and Mail says “Even if the list seems a little heavy on recent movies for a catalogue of Canada’s ‘All-Time’ greatest films, what’s most striking is its diversity.”

DHX Media Ltd. of Halifax announces, via CNW, that it’s signed a deal to premiere its animated action series Dr. Dimensionpants in the U.S. on Hulu. The series will debut exclusively in the US on the streaming service beginning June 13th.

The Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs) will feature Carly Rae Jepsen, Fall Out Boy, Mia Martina Featuring Waka Flocka, Scott Helman, and Tori Kelly as performers, Much confirmed today and announced through CNW (which is a great way to get the word out). Also, ETALK reporter and Much VJ Liz Trinnear,along with Much and E! host Tyrone Edwards,are set to co-host the 2015 MMVAs, for the first-time ever, alongside previously announced  singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

Accessible Media Inc. (AMI) says its popular original series, Canada in Perspective, will be back for Season Four on May 31st at 6:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Time, with a look at transit systems across the country and how accessible they are for disabled citizens.

Another show that’ll be back, this one for its third season, is CraveTV’s “hit slacker comedy”, Deadbeat. It follows the adventures of ” deadbeat pothead and medium-for-hire Kevin “Pac” Pacalioglu. There is no request too strange for “Pac” who puts in the least amount of effort to help even the most frivolous ghosts finish their unfinished business – as long as he makes a quick buck.”
