MFM announces that Cinéfest Sudbury’s Cinema Summit 2015 will offer master classes from the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT), including an open-format talk with Adam Garnet Jones, creator of Fire Song, and a discussion with award-winning filmmaker, Victoria Lean (After the Last River) on connecting communities through documentary film. Speaking of master classes, two-time Academy Award nominee Cordell Barker will give one at the Montreal Stop Motion Film Festival on September 26th. He’ll be there for the Quebec premier of his film, If I Was God, produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). For more on the Festival, which runs from the 25th through 27th, visit here.
