Coming up in November for the first 6 days of the month is the Windsor International Film Festival. WIFF has recently started accepting submissions and entries until September 6th. This year at WIFF 2016, the festival is focusing on local films and is encouraging locals at Windsor to submit their work. Film entries and submissions will be selected by their quality and originality. Some films have already been announced on the official website where you can also check for rules and guidelines as well as WIFF’s local schedule.
As the Hot Docs Film Festival has recently come to a close this year, next year’s entries will be coming rather soon next month, as they open on September 21. As the name suggests, Hot Docs is accepting documentary films that explore subjects around the world. Festival passes for Hot Docs 2017 will be available for purchase November 2016.
