(Via CNW Telbec) The 11th edition of the Montreal International Black Film Festival (MIBFF) wrapped up last night at Concordia Theatre Hall with the announcement of the award winners. Best Narrative Feature went to Malik Vital’s Imperial Dreams (USA), Best Documentary Feature is Marc Silver’s 3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets (USA), and for Best Narrative Short we have Loîc Barché’s Le Commencement (France). Congratulations to their creators and the Honourable Mention winners.

Flixel Photos of Toronto, which calls them “magical living photos”, has developed a suite of apps to create these, and has also closed $2.2 million in seed funding.
