Yoga Hosers, a comedy about “strange occurrences at the Winnipeg convenience store Eh-2-Zed” and the teenage clerks who fight evil with yoga, has its world premiere at Sundance in January, reports Peter Howell of The Toronto Star. If that sounds funny, there’s more: Johnny Depp plays the Quebecois police detective on the case. His daughter Lily-Rose stars as one of the clerks.
Speaking of world premieres, the Whistler Film Festival will see the debut of Uulx – The Scratcher, a short film from Nuxalkmc director Banchi Hanuse, announces The Coast Mountain News.
