New: Film For Stevens, Ad Standards for GroupM, Prism Prize for Best Music Videos

(Via 24-7 Press Release) Tom Stevens, the North Delta (BC) native whose acting credits include Wayward Pines, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days has completed another project: The Game of Love, a comedic drama directed by Farhad Mann and filmed over 12 days last December in Parksville on Vancouver Island. Stevens plays Barton, son of a wealthy feuding family. A release date in spring is to be announced.

(Via PRNewswire) Digital ads are here to stay, and Canada’s largest media agency group wants to hold them to a high standard. GroupM has been working with publishers to define what an “impression” is, and has decided, for example, that “video plays must be user initiated (not auto-played) and run with the sound on” and “100 percent of an ad must be viewable for at least one second, surpassing industry standards which call for 50 percent .”
