Brian Robertson and Pavan Moondi of Toronto, two filmmakers who submitted their film Diamond Tongues to Slamdance, had quite an interesting experience while filming. Their funding was provided by four film companies and their lead actors didn’t exactly understand everything film related. Their lead actor Nick Flanagan actually got injured during the shoot, and the directors had never struggled with a movie quite so much before. Lately, it has been difficult for movies to get into Slamdance as well. Despite going through many tough times, Diamond Tongues seems to be doing pretty well for itself actually.
